Pakket verstuurd!!

Vandaag is er weer een pakket verstuurd naar Uganda. Dankzij jullie medewerking, op welke wijze dan ook, verheugt zich inmiddels een heel dorp op de spullen die zij toegestuurd krijgen. Het vorige pakket is op 19 augustus aangekomen in Mukosi. Redelijk snel, als je bedenkt dat het pakket daarvoor anderhalve maand onderweg is geweest. Op de eerste schooldag na de vakantie wordt het pakket geopend. De tekst van het bericht van Habimana Peter, en de tekst van ons antwoord terug, voeg ik toe.

Acknowledgement of the box of clothes. Inbox

We hereby acknowledge the receipt of the box of clothes you sent us we got it on 19th August, we were very happy both parents and teachers.

The next term begins on 3oth August 2015 (a week to go). This is when I am going to open the box as you said that you may send more after the acknowledgement of the arrival.

We hope you are going to do it.

Dear Habimana Peter,

We are very pleased that the package has arrived. We hope we can make some happy children and teachers. Today we sent a package. There are also clothes for you and your male colleagues.

In  november, we come to the village and we would like to visit the school. Then we take clothes and school supplies along. We would therefore like to talk to you. I hope we can have contact through the mail in the meantime.
